Learning Council
We have a Learning Council at Sheddingdean so that all the children:
- can feel more involved in the life of the school;
- have more responsibility for the school and for the things that happen in it;
- and teachers can work together in a more understanding and co-operative way;
- can have a fair share in the life and work of the school;
- can feel and become more confident;
- know how an organisation works, such as a school, the local council and the government.
The Learning Council have created a plan to work alongside the school's priorities. We have called this CUP of JUICE. Over the year the Learning Council carries out learning walks to find out about each of the areas on the plan and looks for things we could do better:
