PSHCE & RSHE Intent

At Sheddingdean, we want to equip our children for the future. Our PSHCE and RSHE programme is designed to prepare them as people. It will enable them to discover, learn and achieve together as they develop as learners and respectful citizens. We want to create resilient children who can keep themselves safe and know who to talk to if they are worried.

At the heart of PSHCE and RSHE learning is the desire to enable our children to be happy: socially, emotionally and physically. They will learn about:

• - how to keep themselves safe physically, emotionally and online
• - what positive relationships look like
• - how to stay healthy
• - how we are all different and that is ok
• - what happens as we grow up
• - having aspirations.
